The annual European Film Festival Zimbabwe that gives local audiences a taste of Europe’s diversity and creativity kicked off in Harare on Tuesday 19th October before spreading to Bulawayo next week.

In Harare, the festival is being held at Area 46 in Mt Pleasant until Sunday while the Bulawayo edition will run from October 26th to 31st at Ster Kinekor, Bulawayo Centre.

Thirty films will be screened over 10 days in the two cities.

All tickets are free but, due to the current pandemic, there is a limit of 100 people for all movies and, as well as showing your vaccination card, it is required to PREVIOUSLY BOOK on line in the following links:

with cellist Theo Bross (Germany), pianists Maxime Zecchini (France)
and Filbert Marova (Zimbabwe).
In addition (to this), the artists will be joined by Nancy Nacibo, Kudzi Muvori, Nigel Kamunga, Shalom Kufakwatenzi, Delvin Pikani.

DELF (Diplôme d’Etudes en Langue Française) and DALF (Diplôme Approfondi de Langue Française) are official qualifications awarded by the French Ministry of Education to certify the competency of candidates from outside France in the French language.
